  1. Elegant Solution While Rugged

Prefect solution for me in hitching up my just purchased Kodiac Adventure Mirror Lake Teardrop trailer to my 2002 4x4 Tacoma. Solid connection with no slop over varied terrain (on and off road) during a 700 mile trip. The towing experience was so smooth with the electric brakes dialed in on the teardrop. It seemed like I wasn't towing anything, the trailer and truck seemed like one tight unit in unified cooperation. Only difference with towing the trailer was the obvious acceleration decrease due to the weight of the trailer. I felt really secure and confident with this Max Coupler connecting my truck and teardrop!

  2. Perfect for what i want

I started on my own trailer with a Pentil style which I discovered was a bad idea on the highway especially with a heavy load with my 4x5. The Max Coupler is absolutely perfect. No trailer sway and it's excellent crawling over rocks to receive the benefits of the needed trail articulation. It just works! Solid welds and construction and my only disappointment is that I should have bought one when I bought my trail trailer.

  3. High Quality

Very well built and has a grease fitting! Should last forever.

  4. Well Built/Great Customer Support from AT

This is a very nice and well built coupler. I used it for the first time last weekend on a camping trip and it is EXTREMELY quiet compared to the old ball hitch I was using. At first I thought it was a bit pricey but bit the bullet and I'm very glad that I did...you will be too!

  5. Solid Investment!

I pull a small off-road tent-trailer behind my Jeep, and before I received my Max Coupler, the ball/hitch connection was noisy, and I didn't feel terribly secure with it on some of the trails and roads I frequent. When I received my Max Coupler, I was amazed at how quiet and solid the whole connection is! I have to keep looking back to make sure my trailer is still behind me because I can't hear the ball or tube connections making any noise, even on the bumpiest, roughest dirt roads and trails! The best part is that I can pull my trailer through areas now that would have challenged the ball hitch connection to the point of binding. No more worries! Cheap? No. Worth it? ABSOLUTELY!

I made my own version but ended up opting to use yours. Great design and works extremely well.

Really well built. I was going to make one myself in the shop, but for $250.-, they've already road tested these and will save me the time!!!
